CT Colonography

Broadway Radiology nows performs CT Colonography. 

Sometimes called a ‘”virtual colonoscopy”, this is a new minimally-invasive test which may reduce the need for more invasive traditional colonoscopy. 

The main reason for performing CT Colonography is to screen for polyps and other lesions in the colon.  Some polyps may grow and turn into cancers and the goal is to detect these in their early stages before cancer has a chance to develop.

Image Access for Referrers

Palmerston North X-Ray now allows secure access to it's image database for approved referring practitioners.  See the Referrer Information tab for more details.

The clerical staff comprise personnel from a wide ranging background, and perform reception, telephone, accounts and general office functions all with a strong focus on customer service. 

The reception and clerical staff are a highly experienced and dynamic team.  They will assist you with many aspects of your visit, including booking and advising on appointments, preparation instructions, fees and accounts, advice on claiming and obtaining prior approval from your medical insurer, ACC requirements and they can advise on any other enquiry or concern you may have. 

They are usually the first faces you will see on your arrival for your examination and are committed to making your visit as favorable as possible.
